Getting cabin fever? Need a little taste of civilization? Estes Park is only five minutes away! A quaint mountain town of about 6,000, Estes Park is best known as the site of the infamous Stanley Hotel featured in “The Shining”. While the hotel is certainly worth a visit, Estes Park truly has something for everyone.

Estes park has over 200 unique shops and boutiques

You can shop for handmade jewelry or crafts, visit art galleries, or browse through the bookstore. And don’t worry, if you need a pick me up, there's a Starbucks, though we recommend you try one of the town's many independent coffee brewers.

Need to relax?

There's a reason why Estes Park is the home of Yoga Journal Magazine’s annual conference. Estes Park has three spa’s, several yoga studios, and a gym so you can ease your soul and body after a long day of hiking.

Got the whole family in town?

There’s a bowling alley, many museums, 2 movie theaters, a ropes course, and even mini golf! Also, Estes Park is known as a Rocky Mountain candy Mecca. You can visit the old fashioned taffy shops or one of the 8 other candy stores. If you need to eat something more substantial, you can chow down at one of the town's many family friendly restaurants.

Looking for a more adult outing?

You can listen to live bluegrass or folk and sip on a locally brewed beer at one of our local venues. Consider yourself a beer aficionado? “The Barrel” has over 60 craft brews on tap in its outdoor beer garden. Want to imbibe straight from the source? Estes park has 3 breweries, a winery, and a distillery so you can bring home some libations (or enjoy them during your stay).

Planning an excursion?

Estes Park is your perfect staging ground. Rent mountain bikes, ATV’s, snowshoes or even ice climbing equipment.  Ride horses along forest trails or raft a river. There are plenty of adventures to chose from!
